Thank you for your interest in a Good Dog! Service Canines companion dog.  Companion dogs are trained to assist an individual with a disability in the home.  Companion dogs are not considered service dogs and do not have the same legal public access rights.  They cannot be taken to school, the store, restaurants, planes, and other public places a service dog would go.  They are considered pets fully trained on specific tasks to assist in the home environment.  If you are interested in a Good Dog! Service Canines Companion dog, please fill out the application below.  If you would like to apply for a service dog, please visit this page to learn more about our service dogs.

 APPLICATION PROCESS

We place a limited number of companion dogs each year and cannot specify a timeline for when a companion dog will be ready for you.  We will contact you when we have a companion dog that may meet your needs, at which point we will continue the application process, which includes reference calls and an interview.  We will not reach out until we have a dog that is a fit for your family and needs.  If you are looking to add a pet dog to your family quickly, we encourage you to continue to pursue other avenues.
